Hummel #2288 - This stunning 12” x 17” x 11” detailed figurine displays a joyful parade of the beloved Bavarian children that are the heart and soul of Sister Hummel’s creative imagination. It features figurines from: School Boy, Puppy Love, Goose Girl, Hummele, Blumenkinder, We Wish You The Best, & Pleasant Journey. Due to its size and complexity it requires 84 molds, 40 different colors, 2,535 working steps, and 11,800 touches by human hands.
This monumental piece celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, to honor her artistry, vision and loving spirit. It will be the first figurines produced to bear the new trademark and the special 100th Anniversary backstamp. It was introduced in June, 2009.
